Sorry, but you are just being mislead by the adults in your life trying to make you think you are living in the end times.

Although you are young, look up the great depression, WW1&2, Vietnam, The Blitz, The Black Death, The Great Fire of London etc.

There have been so many times in the last couple of hundred years that must have seemed like the end of the world to some people living at the time.

We sit here in our nice houses chatting on the Internet, playing with our iPod and iPhones, and our horrible end of the world scenario is that it costs more money to fill up our SUVs?

Gas has been more than $4 a gallon in many countries, including the UK for years. But people just change their habits, drive smaller cars, use public transport, walk.

There are some parts of the world where people work long hard days and make barely enough to buy some rice to eat.

The fact is we as Americans are reaping what we have sown. We were stupid enough to elect an idiot into the White House. And he has screwed up everything he has touched, ruined the economy, plunged us into an unnecessary war which we are not paying for (merely borrowing money that we will have to pay back later with interest), and appointed his cronies into positions they are not qualified for (like the head of FEMA who was a horse judge with no prior experience in the field).

So no, it’s not the end of the world. It’s just a valuable lesson in why you don’t let a moron be president.

As for all the prophesies that you say have come true, why don’t you be more specific (with quotes). In the meantime here are some of the many false prophesies in the Bible for you to read up on.

Don’t worry. High prices aren’t the end of the world.

  3. Gabriel says:

It’s good you’re being watchful of signs, because now you’re aware of biblical prophecy and the compelling evidence proving the existence of God. Keep reading your Bible so you can discover ways we’re supposed to act, and you won’t be caught off guard in the end. In fact, you’ll be ecstatic!

  4. Keltasia says:

I don’t know what you’re referring to by strange weather. Our planet has gone through several climate changes in the past – ever hear of the Ice Age???? Our economy ***** but it wasn’t any better during the Depression. Of course the prices have risen over the years. When gas was around $1/gallon my wages were $4/hour. When gas was at $3.50/gallon my wages were $7/hr. (It wasn’t worth me working outside the home anymore). Do the math and read a few history and science books. There is nothing in the bible that mentions global warming, the U.S economy, or any of the things you mentioned being concerned as “signs”.

My friend, it is no where near the end of the world.

Gas actually isnt at its highest yet, when adjusted for inflation – in the 70′s, there was a gas crisis and people were paying even more than we do today (again, when adjusted for inflation.) Food is going up due to weather (flooding in America’s farmlands) as well as because we are now using corn not only as a sweetener in just about everything, but as a source of biofuel.

Strange weather is strange weather – we’ve had that for as long as humans have recorded weather patterns. We just have better technology nowadays, so the news is brought to your attention faster than ever before.

Nothing that is mentioned in the Bible is happening. It is all in how you interpret it.

Don’t worry, the world will be around for a long, long time. The things you mentioned have happened before and will happen again. As long as there is greed in the world these things will continue to happen.

First of all don’t worry. The talk of the end times has been going on for many years. I am 56 years old and I can remember my Grandmother telling me she thought it was the end of times when I was a little girl. I think that alot more things have to fall into place before that happens. I take comfort in God’s words Be anxious for nothing. So just trust your Lord. God Bless…

  8. Vincent The Valentine says:

Its not the end of the world. It’s just our current stupid president. Of course some money has to be made to keep the war going. Now everyone is going to crowd your little town for the low gas prices. Don’t share any personal information on the internet kiddo! The weird weather is due to our screwed up environment because we polluted it too much, and it can’t even keep one solid season. Chronologically its supposed to be summer, but recent nights have been more cold than ever. Of course you’re pretty young to not believe in what the bible says, but when you realize how stupid adults really are, you’ll know why everything is happening, and its not in the bible. You can’t pay for gas with the bible, now can you? Didn’t think so.

  9. Scott L says:

There have been thousands of predictions of the imminent end of the world for the past 2000 years, at least.
What makes you think that your prediction is better founded than the thousands of failed ones that have come before you?

  10. bennett.james777 says:

Sure it has been going on for years and begun getting worse about two thousand years ago at an accelerated rate and even that has quickened in the last few decades. The bible said people would say things like the couple told you. Yes most of the pre-rapture prophecies have been fulfilled, maybe all but I think you are wrong about the temple having been rebuilt and it probably won’t happen until post rapture. What did Jesus say,”He would come aas a thief in the night, when most were least expecting it”.

  11. urallnutballs says:

Fuel prices are rising because of demand. Many third world countries are slowly industrializing, China has upped it’s fuel usage by a huge amount over the last decade. There is a heavy demand and a short supply which creates a higher price. Americans are per capita one of the largest users – if not the largest – of crude oil in the world. We use a more than fair share of the earths resources in general but have not been paying what others have unil now.

Everything becomes more expensive when fuel costs rise. It costs more to grow, harvest , and transport food. The market is globalizing at a rapid rate and it’s not all that unusual for Americans to start feeling a financial crunch.

Global warming and cooling is a natural cycle. That is not to say pollution is not making it worse, nor is not adversely affecting the planets eco-systems. Weather patterns will change during such events: areas more prone to drought, etc.

Not sure what you mean by the Temple has been rebuilt.

  12. NotRobinHood says:

These things are just a major change in the stucture of our society showing itself. It will be a good thing for you I think because it will bring many new and wonderful things. New fuels and inventions. Things are moving faster than ever before and you are at the beginning of a new era. Don’t fear the future. Put it to use.

  13. Dr pushpinder k says:

I think no, the end of the world is not so close.
But certainly the world is undergoing changes regarding weather, social setups, economy and technology at a much faster rate than in the past.
Keep remembering that word has survived the first and the second big wars.
